When we started carrying Leonor Greyl a few months back I eagerly snapped up some samples to try. I decided to make an afternoon of it and give myself a "spa day" at home on my day off. Spa day + camera = Thompson Chemists blog post. Enjoy! My products: Huile de Palme, Bain Vitalisant B,Masque Fleurs de Jasmin and Serum de Soie Sublimateur. This is my "before" shot with my sample sized Huile de Palme. The Huile de Palme is partially solid. It needs to be warmed up so that it becomes liquid. I ran the bottle under some warm water before applying. Applying Huile de Palme. It always amazes me how much oil hair can absorb. I concentrated on the ends and allowed the oil to sit in my hair for a full 20 minutes. Then I shampooed with the Bain Vitalisant B which is Leonor Greyl's shampoo for "thin, dry, colored and sensitized hair." My hair is relatively healthy, but is is very long, fine and the ends are always dry. The scent of this shampoo is mild and fruity. I followed up with the Masque Fleurs de Jasmin. I towel dried my hair before applying it and again waited a full 20 minutes before rinsing. The masque is rich and creamy and smells divine. Jasmin is one of Leonor Greyl's signature scents, and a personal favorite of mine. Post-rinse, I added the Serum de Soie Sublimateur. I use the tester all the time at the store (on dry hair) but this was my first time using it on damp hair. I feel like this shot shows how hydrated and smooth my hair is after my treatments. I never blow-dry my hair. I actually had to borrow a blow dryer for this project... Almost done! Voila! Volume Galore! Post treatment my hair is smooth, voluminous and clean! I felt so glamorous when I was done. The best part was how the perfume of the Masque Fleurs de Jasmin stayed in my hair for days. Photos by Josh Luxenberg.
